Superintendent Archie Reddix Sr

 Emeritus Pastor

Archie Reddix Sr was born on June 24, 1935, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Bennie & Ethel Reddix. Archie found the love of his life, Earline Varnado and became married in 1953. Together they were blessed with six children.  After marriage, Archie moved to New Orleans and became a member of Wilbert Chapel COGIC whereby he was a member for almost 20 years. At Wilbert Chapel COGIC he served as a deacon, Y.P.W.W, and Asst. Sunday School  Superintendent. In 1972, Deacon Archie moved his family to Cleveland, Ohio and was under watch care for one year at Parker Memorial COGIC. After settling into Cleveland, Ohio, Deacon Archie relocated his family and joined Community Temple COGIC. While serving at this church, the Lord anointed Archie

as an Elder and Pastor under Bishop Fields to becoming the good shepherd of East 131st COGIC in 1973. Since then Pastor Reddix has served in the Jail Ministry, "Joy" Night, Evangelist Department, The Ohio Central Jurisdictional Leader and currently Superintendent of Mount Zion Holiness District in the Ohio West Jurisdiction of Church of God in Christ. With the FAVOR of the Lord, Supt. Reddix Sr & East 131st COGIC church family moved into a new facility and changed their church name to Greater Works COGIC.
